No cookies, no tracking
This website sets no cookies. No analytics, statistics or marketing services are used, no usage profile is created and no data is passed to advertising networks. A consent banner is therefore not required.
Fonts are delivered together with the website and are not loaded from third-party servers (such as Google).
Only if you use the “Pause motion” button on the home page is this setting stored in your browser’s storage (localStorage), so that it still applies on your next visit. The value never leaves your device. Storing it is strictly necessary for this function you explicitly requested (section 165 (3) of the Austrian Telecommunications Act 2021); you can delete it at any time in your browser settings.
Hosting and server logs
This website is hosted by Vercel Inc., 440 N Barranca Avenue #4133, Covina, CA 91723, USA, and delivered through its worldwide server network (content delivery network); requests are usually answered by a data centre near you. Server-side functions of this website run in the Frankfurt am Main data centre (Germany).
When you open a page, your browser transmits technically necessary data to Vercel’s servers. The following is logged in particular: IP address, date and time of access, the address requested, the status code, and browser and operating system details. This processing is necessary to deliver the website and keep it stable and secure; the legal basis is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR (legitimate interest in secure operation). Vercel acts as our processor (Art. 28 GDPR). The logs are not combined with other data and are deleted automatically once they are no longer needed for these purposes.
Transfer to the USA
Vercel Inc. is based in the USA, so access to this data from the USA is possible. Vercel is certified under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework; the transfer is based on the European Commission’s adequacy decision (Art. 45 GDPR). In addition, Vercel’s data processing terms include the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses (decision 2021/914).
Links to other websites
The link to Google Maps and the link to our online shop (berahome.at) are plain links; no connection to these providers is made until you click one. The respective operators are responsible for any processing there.
Contact by email or telephone
If you contact us by email or telephone, we process your details (in particular your name, contact details and the content of your enquiry) to answer it and to handle any resulting purchase, including delivery and assembly. The legal basis is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b GDPR where your enquiry is directed at a contract, otherwise Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR (legitimate interest in answering enquiries). Your data is not passed on to third parties unless we are legally obliged to do so.
Retention periods
Enquiries are kept for as long as they are needed to handle them. If an enquiry leads to a purchase, the statutory retention periods apply, in particular seven years under section 132 of the Austrian Federal Fiscal Code (BAO). Server logs are deleted automatically once they are no longer needed.
Your rights
You have the right to access (Art. 15 GDPR), rectification (Art. 16 GDPR), erasure (Art. 17 GDPR), restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR) and data portability (Art. 20 GDPR), as well as the right to object to processing based on legitimate interests (Art. 21 GDPR). An informal message to the email address above is sufficient.
If you believe that the processing of your data breaches data protection law, you may lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority: Österreichische Datenschutzbehörde, Barichgasse 40–42, 1030 Wien, dsb@dsb.gv.at, www.dsb.gv.at.
No automated decision-making
No automated decision-making, including profiling under Art. 22 GDPR, takes place.
